WorldNet Announces Price Update Effective 1st March 2025
WorldNet has confirmed that from 1st March 2025, its broadband plan prices will be adjusted in response to rising wholesale costs from Local Fibre Companies (LFCs).
Since January 2025, LFCs have increased wholesale broadband charges by between 5% and 8.6%, with some applying these changes earlier. To ensure service quality and sustainability, WorldNet will be passing on part of these costs through updated retail pricing.
The new pricing will apply as follows:
| Category | Plan | Speed (Mbps) | (Mbps) Current Price ($) | New Price ($) | Change ($) |
| Fibre | START | 50/10 | 59 | 62 | +3 |
| 300 | 300/100 | 82 | 85 | +3 | |
| MAX | 950/500 | 97 | 102 | +5 | |
| Hyperfibre | Hyperfibre2 | 2000/2000 | 119 (109) | 125 (115) | +6 |
| Hyperfibre4 | 4000/4000 | 159 (149) | 165 (155) | +6 | |
| Hyperfibre8 | 8000/8000 | 295 (280) | 295 (280) | – | |
| 4G Wireless | eWireless | 30/10 | 59 | 59 | – |
WorldNet acknowledged that price adjustments are never ideal but emphasised that they are necessary to maintain the high-quality broadband services customers expect.
